A paradise for the lovers of nature, our station base is located in the Laguna del Tigre National Park, at the banks of San Pedro River and near the Sacluc stream.

With an abundant wildlife such as spider monkeys and howler monkeys (saraguate), occasionally tapirs, crocodiles, and a great variety of birds, among those we can mention the scarlet macaw, toucans, blue herons, parakeets, and many more…


We Visit: Paso Caballos Community, El Perú (Waka´) archaeological site, San Pedro River and Las Guacamayas Biological Station.

DESCRIPTION:


Day one

At 8:00 a.m. we leave Flores towards Paso Caballos, i.e. 3 hours.

Then we take a boat at San Pedro River for half and hour towards Las Guacamayas Biological Station

You will have free time to swim in the river.

Lunch will be served at the Biological Station

We will explore the site the rest of the afternoon.

Dinner will be served at the Biological station

At the sunset we will take a Tour of Aquatic fauna

Day two

Early morning wake up call.

Breakfast will be served at the site

After breakfast we will aboard our boat to El Perú.

We will start our hike to El Perú archaeological site and then explore the site, including the visit to the lake and observing the guacamayas (scarlet macaw).

We will have lunch on the way back

After lunch we will aboard the boat at Rio San Pedro towards Paso Caballos.

From Paso Caballos we will take the minibus to Flores or Santa Elena.
